MCPs Made Me Cry (And I'm Not Even Embarrassed)

Published: December 21, 2025 - 2 min read

I cannot believe I am writing about this publicly, but I just discovered a feature in Claude that has genuinely brought tears to my eyes.

I'm working on the product for my 12-day challenge, and to achieve what I wanted, I had to learn about and create a local MCP (Model Context Protocol).

This Is Not a Tutorial

This blog post is not to tell you what MCPs are. That longer breakdown will come later.

This is just me expressing the gratitude I feel right now.

The Feeling of No Limits

MCPs make me feel so powerful, I can't even begin to describe it.

I thought I was powerful with Custom Subagents. But this is next level.

What else is there to learn and discover that will bring me to tears this way? Would I live long enough to discover the depths of everything?

Oh gosh, I'll stop now. I'm not even sure I'm allowed to write content like this here, but wow. AI makes me feel powerful. Claude makes me feel powerful. I feel like there are no limits to what I can build or create, and that is such a refreshing feeling.

More to Come

I'll save the longer blog posts where I break down what MCPs are for the future. Just know that I'll be going to bed really happy for the discovery I have made today.

As always, thanks for reading!
